What We Believe

The foundation of faith at Church Of Living God Pine Bluff

As Christian Workers For Fellowship, we are rooted in Scripture and the timeless convictions of the faith. Our beliefs guide us in worship, service, and community. We gather in North Little Rock to grow together in Christ, strengthened by nearly two thousand years of Christian tradition and Dr. Sean Daniels' pastoral leadership.

Foundation One

God's Nature and Love

Our faith rests on understanding who God is. This foundational truth shapes everything we believe and practice.

We believe in one God, eternal and good, who created all things and sustains all life. He is not distant or impersonal, but a loving Father who knows us intimately and created us with purpose.

We believe this one God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-one God in three persons. God's very nature is relational and loving, and His desire from the beginning has been to invite us into fellowship with Him and with one another.

When we truly grasp who God is, it transforms everything. Our worship, our service, our relationships, and our daily lives all flow from this central conviction about God's character and His love for us.

Our Foundation

What we believe

As Christian Workers For Fellowship, we are grounded in biblical truth and united in our faith. Here are the core convictions that guide our ministry and community.

God's Word The foundation of all faith Scripture is our ultimate guide, revealing God's character and His perfect plan for our lives.
Salvation Through Jesus Christ We believe in the redemptive work of Christ, whose love offers us freedom from sin and new life.
The Spirit Living and active today The Holy Spirit empowers and guides us, transforming our hearts and enabling us to serve others.
Fellowship Bound in Christ We are called to genuine community, supporting one another in faith, prayer, and service to God.
Service Living out our faith Our beliefs compel us to reach out, minister to the hurting, and share the Gospel with all.
Discipleship Growing in Christ together We are committed to maturing in faith, helping others follow Jesus, and building God's kingdom.
Tenet Three

Why the cross

Every culture has tried to explain the pain of being human. At the center of Christian faith stands one stubborn, scandalous answer: a Roman cross outside Jerusalem, and an empty tomb three days later. Four reasons the cross still stands at the center of our church.

  • 01

    Because Jesus actually lived

We believe Jesus of Nazareth was a real person, in real history, who lived a real life of sinless love and spoke real words we can still read and trust today.

  • 02

Because his death was not a tragedy

The cross was not something that happened to Jesus against his will. It was the plan, the moment God himself took the weight of our brokenness on his own shoulders so we would not have to carry it alone.

  • 03

    Because the tomb was empty

Three days after the cross, Jesus walked out of the grave. That single event is the reason we gather on Sundays, the reason we have any hope worth talking about, and the reason death is not the last word on any of us.

  • 04

Because grace is a gift, not a wage

The whole story of the cross is that we could never earn what God wanted to give. So he gave it anyway. Trusting that gift, and living like it is true, is the heart of the Christian life.

Our Core Belief
"We are called to love God with all our hearts and to love one another as ourselves. Through Christian fellowship and service, we live out this commandment together as workers in Christ's kingdom."
Matthew 22:37-39
